The Raven Boys: The Graphic Novel by Maggie Stiefvater, adapted by Stephanie Williams and illustrated by Sas Milledge, will be available on August 5, 2025 from Penguin Young Readers/Viking Books for Young Readers.
Maggie Stiefvater said, “As a creator, it was rewarding and exciting to come of age in Young Adult, watching the category change publishing in real time; I feel the same way about Graphic Novels now. I wanted the Raven Cycle to be a part of this, but only if the adaptation seethed with the same intentionality and specificity as the prose novels. Despite the magic, The Raven Boys is all about the gesture, and Sas is simply exceptional at the tiny evidences that prove humanity.”
Meriam Metoui, Associate Editor at Viking BFYR, said, “This graphic novel adaptation is everything fans loved about the books but shone in a whole new light. It’s been a career highlight to be the editor on this and I’m thrilled we get to reintroduce Blue and her raven boys to new and old readers alike.”
